At Cliptidy, we take your clipboard privacy seriously. Because your clipboard can contain sensitive text such as credentials, personal email addresses, or proprietary business details, our product is designed with a local-first approach.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

Cliptidy does not upload or store your general clipboard history on our servers. Your clipboard history stays encrypted and stored locally on your macOS device. When you copy something, it remains entirely on your machine.

2. How AI Actions Process Data

When you explicitly trigger an AI action (such as Summarize, Translate, or Explain Code):

• Only the specific clip of text you selected is sent to our AI endpoints for processing.
• This text is processed in real time and the output is returned to your clipboard.
• We do not store the text of your clips, and we do not use your clipboard data to train AI models.
• Your clipboard data is deleted from processing servers immediately after the response is generated.

3. Subscription and Billing Data

For Pro and Ultra plans, payment transactions are processed entirely by Razorpay. Cliptidy does not store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or CVVs. We collect and store only your email address to associate with your active subscription license key.

4. Cookies & Analytics

Our marketing website uses minimal cookies to manage session preferences and basic, privacy-preserving analytics. We do not track you across the web or sell your browsing behaviors.
